Expedition to the child cemetery of Chachapoya culture

The Peruvian newspaper El Comercio organized an expedition to the place of the discovery of 23 sarcophagi of Chachapoya culture. Presumably, they were made for child mummies. The scientists came to this conclusion due to the small size of sarcophagi and stone “toys” discovered next to them. 10 out of 23 sarcophagi are still sealed and the mummies may still be inside.
