Itinerary: Cusco - Tinqui - Upis - Quinsacocha - Pampaccahua - Jampa - Pacchanta - Cusco
Day 01: Cusco - Tinqui
Early morning we will take the bus to Tinqui (3,800 meters above sea). Here we will have lunch and then walk around: here we will enjoy lovely views over the surrounding countryside.
Dinner and camp in Tinqui.
Day 02: Tinqui - Upis
After breakfast we break camp and hike up to the Ausangate glacier. On the way we will see the magnificent panoramic view of glaciers. Lunch will be awaiting us in Upis. After lunch anyone interested can bathe in the hot springs.

Day 03: Upis - Pucacocha
After breakfast we break camp and hike up to a pass at 4,500 above sea level. On the way we will see Lake Pucacocha and will pass in close proximity of the cascades of coloured ice where we finally have dinner and make camp.
Day 04: Pucacocha - Chilcapinaya
After breakfast we continue walking. Today we will see several lakes, which are unnaturally green-blue. We rise to cross Palomani pass at 4,800 meters above sea level. Here we can see the astounding view of Ausangate and Vilcanota Mountains. After lunch we will descend from the cold to camp at Chilcapinaya.
Here we will have dinner and camp.
Day 05: Chilcapinaya - Jampa
Today we will visit surrounding villages, where the villagers keep up the traditions of ancestors. After lunch we again start our trip and will pass Lake Ticllacocha. After climbing last pass at 4,650 meters above sea level we will arrive at Pachaspata. We will camp here or at the small Lake Qomercocha if we make it before dark.
Dinner and stay overnight.
Day 06: Jampa - Pacchanta
After breakfast we descend, noticing the change in temperature as we get lower again. Once we arrive in the small village of Pacchanta we can rest, have lunch and enjoy relaxing hot thermal springs.
We will set up camp for the night nearby
Day 07: Pacchanta - Cusco
After breakfast we will again walk and observe the way of living of mountain inhabitants and will say final goodbyes to Apu (Gods of mountains). After lunch we will board our bus back to Cusco, arriving late in the evening.
